Stephanie Warner Bio

Hi! I’m Stephanie 🙂

Hi! I’m Stephanie — an experienced in-home pet sitter with a calm, intuitive approach and a deep love for animals of all kinds. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from affectionate lap cats to blind and deaf senior dogs, always tailoring my care to each pet’s unique needs and personality. I specialize in helping pets feel safe, relaxed, and loved while their humans are away.

When I’m not pet sitting, I travel the country in my camper van, photographing wildlife and birds — two of my biggest passions. My time in nature has taught me the art of patience and observation, which carries into the way I care for animals: quietly, respectfully, and always with heart.

I look forward to working with you and your pets!

Stephanie has been our go-to pet sitter many years — including an extended in-home stay through the winter — caring for our two cats, Dylan and Marshall. We trust her with our home, our pets, and our peace of mind every time we travel.

Dylan is an affectionate guy, but only after a long warm-up period with new people. Stephanie respected that and never rushed him. By the third day of most stays, she had earned his trust, and he would happily climb into her lap and soak up affection for hours. That kind of relationship-building takes time, and Stephanie never cut corners.

Marshall, our second cat, is more dog than feline in personality. He bonded with Stephanie immediately and followed her around like a shadow. She balanced their very different needs beautifully and kept them both entertained, safe, and stress-free.

She sends updates without being asked, checks in if anything seems unusual, and leaves the house cleaner than she found it. We are so grateful to have her.

We were nervous to leave our two dogs, Max and Annie, especially since Annie is both blind and deaf and experiences occasional seizures. Stephanie turned out to be the perfect person for the job. From our very first conversation, we could tell she had the calm presence, attentiveness, and experience needed to confidently care for pets with special needs.

Annie bonded with her quickly and never missed a beat — she even led their one-on-one walks around the neighborhood like she’d done it a hundred times before. Max, on the other hand, really thrived thanks to Stephanie’s thoughtful decision to give him his own daily walks so he could stretch his legs without having to slow down for Annie. She also picked up on Max’s big-dog energy and hilariously nicknamed him “Maxle Rose” — a name we still use today.

We were able to fully enjoy our honeymoon, knowing our dogs were in loving, capable hands. Stephanie sent us daily updates, photos, and videos that gave us peace of mind. Annie had no seizures while we were away, and both dogs were calm, happy, and relaxed when we returned.

Not long after we got home, Annie had a seizure one evening. I had to leave the next morning and was worried about leaving her alone. Knowing Stephanie was still in Arizona, I reached out to ask if she might be able to check in on Annie. Without hesitation, she came over — and arrived to find Annie in the midst of what would be her final seizure. Stephanie stayed with her, gently comforting her until I could get back home. That ended up being Annie’s last day, and I can’t express how deeply I appreciated what Stephanie did for her — and for us.

Stephanie is a rare gem, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for compassionate, attentive, and experienced pet care.
